1959 Chevy Viking

A vintage makeover and such a killer use for a classic piece of machinery.  The transformation of a 1959 Chevrolet Viking Short Bus.  Reminded me a little of this throwback.  This fine little nugget comes complete with plumbing, electrical and a crazy interior vibe.

A full, customized remodel with inspirational details taken from the 1960's.  A little help from some local boat craftsmen and this distinctive space started to take shape.  A full blend of loud colors, patterns and beads.

The before and after exterior.  She cleans up nice!  You can also check this post over at Fred Flare.

Car Shelving

I guess if it fits inside the space and compliments your crazy, badass retro style then you go for it. Who doesn't think a car shelving unit is cool? This post also ran over at Fred Flare this weekend.

LEGO HQ

LEGO love. Here are a few shots of LEGO's product development HQ. The idea behind the design of the space was that LEGOS themselves are not just fun for kids, but that working there is just as much fun. Vibrant and alive. An overall amazing looking environment.

How could you pass this up? Badass. A slide at home. A slide at work.

Pirate Room

Is this a kids bedroom or a movie set? Talk about crazy. If you have a love of pirates then this is for you. So unique and so well done. This is craft and creativity all rolled into one. Hand hewn beams, faux finishes and a rope bridge.

They've even incorporated the underwater feel with the painted murals on the walls.

It's all covered here. A little jail cell with a custom iron door.

And you have to roll with the crow's nest too. Right? You can also check this post over at my weekly guest home, Fred Flare.

Crystal Head

Whether you're a vodka drinker on not this packaging is just badass. This is by Crystal Head. You can check their full story here. The bottle head was said to be inspired by the archaeological mystery of the 13 crystal heads that have been found around the world, dating anywhere from 5,000 to 35,000 years old. Crazy. The bottle instantly becomes a design element. Use it as a vase, candle holder or kids piggy bank. Or just keep it around for Halloween. Freaky Reception

Check-in on one side. Grab a cappuccino or cocktail on the other. The focal point of any lobby. The idea was to come up with a killer way to display the creative philosophy of the consulting company while incorporating and masking structural elements of the building. High energy and free flowing. It's all set off by the glossy white, web sculpture, fully equipped with LED lights. You can also check this over at my guest home, Fred Flare.

A straight up classic. The VW Camper Van. Check it. Nothing too flashy and all you need to hit road.

Pristine detail both inside and out.

As always the summer is just cruising by so fast. A killer way to get out, explore and enjoy. You can also find me over at my Thursday guest home, Fred Flare.
