A snap shot of the guest bath found in a modern farmhouse reno in upstate New York. A wide open, roomy space that blends salvaged antiques with a modern vibe. There's not a lot to it but it works. I love the creativity and simplicity of each piece in this space. I also like the fact that each piece tells a story of an earlier time and place.
A nice old Italian marble sink and floating top hung together for the vanity. Not a total match but again it follows the vibe of the space. Accented with the modern, chrome wall mount faucet. And finally the tub. A relic from the 1800's originally fabricated out of wood and zinc and wrapped in stainless steel.

On the rear of the house they brought in some of the European elements with the bracketed overhangs and the tall french doors.
